The Challenge – As a 3D printing company, much of the work Lee3D do is confidential, so it can’t be shown in a promotional video. Also most 3D printing companies promote themselves with shots of the printing in progress, Lee3D wanted to promote the creative potential of 3D printing. They also wanted to promote the possibilities of photogrammetry to 3D print.
Solution – A video that tells the story of how a pigeon becomes a 3D printed object. By combining live pigeon footage with some of the process of photogrammetry we made a video that creatively plays with expectations, and entertains clients.
